John Cass is Head of Digital Marketing for Pace Communications, a custom content marketing agency based in Greensboro, NC, and provides custom content in print and online to Pace Communications’ clients, including the award-nominated online magazine for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Prior to joining Pace Communications, Cass was the Community Manager for Forrester Research, the leading interactive marketing research company. 

Cass is the author of Strategies and Tools for Corporate Blogging, published 2007 by Butterworth-Heinemann, an imprint of Elsevier, a past President of the Boston Chapter of the American Marketing Association and is a Founding Fellow of the Society for New Communications Research, a nonprofit think tank on how social media is being used by business, the media and society. Cass received his bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from DeMontfort University in the United Kingdom.

Cass has been a frequent blogger on his PR Communications blog since 2003. When not involved in social media he spends his time with his wife Karin, raising their young son Bram.
