Job Summary:

In coordination with the Associate Brand Manager and sales leadership; creates and executes the annual marketing plan for the ingredients and foodservice segments. Maintains and uses product marketing information for publication and other business development opportunities. Administers and manages our CRM platform, SalesForce.

Responsibilities

  • Recommends and executes the annual marketing plan and budget for the ingredients and foodservice segment and chain accounts, including media (paid print and digital) planning, direct/targeted campaigns, trade shows, and digital marketing tactics.

  • Provides direction and oversight for account plant visits, including product review.

  • Attends and assists with select food shows and franchise meetings.

  • Makes periodic trips to the field to get front line exposure to segment needs and to identify additional tactics.

  • Oversees management of ingredient and foodservice account leads.

  • Oversees creation and publishing of product collateral and other product information in relevant media (print, electronic, internal & external databases).

  • Works directly with the advertising agency, Studio H, and culinary resources to develop and execute creative and culinary strategies to help deliver sales goals.

  • Ensures data integrity and connectivity of internal marketing product-related databases; manages interface with external data partners (such as GS1) for electronic product information sharing.

  • Serves as primary administrator and “super user” for SalesForce; providing training to other internal administrators and users.

  • Recommends and oversees implementation of complex changes and upgrades in SalesForce, working directly with external resources and consultants as needed.

  • Directs the Marketing Specialist on the administration of the Burke website who ensures the website is accurate, conveys benefits and capabilities, and demonstrates strong SEO.

  • Will be required to work with and develop equipment and ideas deemed to be confidential information and/or trade secrets owned by the company.

  • This person will be required to protect the company's rights in and ownership of those trade secrets and confidential information.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field. 2+ years experience in Marketing and/or Sales, preferably in food service and/or industrial.

  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • The ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects.

  • Strong analytical and time management skills.

  • Highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient with computers, Office (specifically Powerpoint) word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

  • Preferred - Adobe Creative Suite and SalesForce CRM software.

  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
