Description

As the email and social media specialist, you will be responsible for developing, sustaining and growing the company’s brand and new business objectives through email marketing and social media. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the technical landscape of email and social media platforms, driving traffic, securing conversions, and building relationships while generating and executing new ideas to support the Company’s branding and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  1. Email – Work with email automation software to develop, launch and manage a wide variety of email marketing campaigns end-to-end ensuring design and layouts of emails are optimized. Collaborate with copywriters and designers to A/B test email content for performance. Manage customer data and segment lists for maximum return while minimizing list attrition. Compile, analyze and report performance data to be easily viewed and understood by stakeholders. Examine and analyze current email marketing strategies and make suggestions on improvements based on analytics and deliverability trends.

  2. Social – Work collaboratively with creative and product managers to develop meaningful content across multiple social channels and platforms that drive brand awareness and growth through effective messaging. Write consistent and clear brand voice posts that create engagement and drive organic growth. Manage a social publishing calendar and monitor the progress ensuring on-time and accurate publication. Execute social media strategies and tactics to drive growth. Identify and craft best practices for social media. Manage ad spend and promotion of social media campaigns. Analyze media and channel performance and make and act on recommendations for continuous improvement. Conduct market research (social listening, brand reputation, competitor analysis, etc) and analyze trends to identify new social opportunities. Coordinates and manages live digital events (Facebook & Instagram live, LinkedIn, Twitter,etc.). Attends, coordinates and implements social posting opportunities at special events, seminars, and conferences. Responds to and creates social conversations.

  3. Communication - Work on and collaborate with internal and external cross functional teams. Actively participate in team meetings and conversations to provide updates, problem solve and drive results.

  4. Assists Digital Strategy Manager with process improvement, social and email marketing strategies and other tactics supporting overall strategy.

  5. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2- 3 years of proven experience executing email marketing and social media programs.

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of email marketing and all major social media platforms.

  • Advanced knowledge of email marketing platforms and how they work, such as Marketing Cloud, Active Campaign, Marketo, etc.

  • Advanced experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.
