This position will provide critical leadership and support to Strategic Relations and Communications’ effort to strengthen and align university branding, marketing and strategic relations efforts. The person in this position will be responsible for leading projects designed to strengthen the reputation, raise the visibility and communicate the value of the university. In addition, this position will strengthen the responsiveness and expand the service/capabilities of the university marketing office, including serving as the director’s back up for internal branding approval requests. The person in this position will work closely with the AVP of Strategic Relations and Communications and the University Marketing Director, reporting to the AVP. Responsibilities include managing priority presidential and university level branding and public relations initiatives and projects, recommending strategies that support these efforts; developing or refining proven support processes and protocols; and collaborating with internal partners on branding, marketing and strategic relations efforts.
