Manage and execute marketing efforts for some combination of national touring concerts, comedians, family-centered presentations, Broadway productions, dance, National Geographic, and other related series.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Manage overall marketing strategies and implementation to generate/maximize ticket revenue (ROI) for assigned engagements Offer a full suite of marketing expertise, including email marketing, traditional advertising and media relationship experience, targeted digital advertising, social media and direct mail Utilize core marketing analytics tools and industry-specific data platforms to standardize data-driven decisions, including sales trends and key audiences Collaborate with national-scale press agents to develop and align show marketing strategies to achieve sales goals in the Central Iowa marketplace Develop and oversee implementation/coordination of advertising schedules with media partners (traditional and digital) and value-added promotional campaigns Manage multi-platform approval processes with show press agents and internal team, including Ticket Office, Development and Administration. Work with Director of Marketing and other key individuals to establish schedules for show on-sales Prepare documentation spreadsheets for show managers and internal use – includes multi-tiered marketing plans, advertising settlements promotional summaries. Collaborate with Digital Experience and Communications teams on digital and social media strategy per show Collaborate with multiple outside vendors, including media planner, digital marketing firm, graphic designers, video producers, copywriters, printers, mail house, etc. Consult with Ticketing and Digital Experience teams to track and analyze ticket sales data Drive creative direction, as needed.

Education/Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing roles Experience working in arts / live performance / entertainment industry highly preferred. Agency and corporate experience also helpful Critical Success Factors
