AMA Iowa Summer Social at the National Balloon Classic

We are going to kick off the new fiscal year for AMA Iowa by having a social event at one of Iowa's most iconic summer activities - the National Balloon Classic!

Join us for an evening of activities in Indianola, Iowa, at the National Balloon Classic field on Thursday, July 31st. Gates open at 4:00 PM and evening balloon flight/competition begins are approximately 6:30 PM (weather permitting). Once it gets dark, stay for the 3D drone show! Concert performance for the evening is the Damon Dotson Band. Food and drink available for purchase inside the balloon field. Be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket.  

AMA Iowa has purchased 50 tickets for this event. These are free for members-only and limited to one per member on a first-come, first-serve basis. Members need to register by Thursday, July 24th so we can distribute the tickets. 

Tickets for non-members or additional tickets to purchase for family and friends can be completed online ($12/ticket + processing fees) at the National Balloon Classic website. Please also register as we want to keep an accurate count of those joining us.

Meet up area will be east of the concert stage and west of the VIP area (see red circled X below). You'll still be able to hear the music and see the balloons and great spot for kids to run around.
