Marketing Analytics: Making Marketers Look Good
How many marketing decisions do you make where you can’t answer the question, “Did it work?” What if you could more accurately identify what marketing campaigns will be a success? What metrics would you need to determine that success and what is the best way to set those analytics in place?
In this panel discussion, we’ll hear from three marketers who have successfully used data to ramp up their marketing outcomes.
Keri is a graduate of Illinois State University. Before Augustana, she worked at Modern Woodmen of America in Rock Island for 16 years. A native of Aledo, Ill., she and her husband live on a farm near Reynolds, Ill., and they have two teenage daughters.
Gary J. Gaeth
His theory-based research focuses on analytic models of consumer decision making and his applied research on the strategic application of marketing analytics. Gary has published widely in decision making (with his long-time colleague Irwin Levin) and marketing journals. He has consulted with companies in several diverse industries, including Aetna, HNI, American Dental Association, Kirkwood Community College, University Hospitals and Clinics, and St Lukes in Des Moines.
One of the most significant challenges she’s experienced in her 20 years is transitioning from a traditional marketing team to one focused on analytics and digital strategies. Currently, her team is gearing up for 2019 to celebrate IHMVCU’s 85th Anniversary and the grand opening of their new HQ.
