Transforming Customer Intelligence into Innovation

Presentation Description:

It’s the core challenge of the information age. The amount of information that bombards us daily too frequently obscures true insight. Intelligence should drive better innovation, but unless it is strategically collected and used, it functions like an engaging distraction. Smart companies intertwine customer intelligence throughout the innovation process, and innovation starts with discovery — where an innovator pinpoints an important customer problem to solve. This presentation will discuss how to effectively capture ground-level intelligence, learning to ask the right questions, and how to identify undiscovered customer needs to build innovation and move leaps and bounds beyond your competition.

Andrea Olson, MSC.
Andrea Olson is the squad leader. Trained as a strategist and customer communications expert, Andrea helps clients discover “customer needs” through speaking from the stage, leading Culture Camps, Mission Labs and Customer Labs for organizations, and teaching others the art and science of customer centricity. She is also literally a world traveler, having worked in over 12 different countries throughout her early career.

An avid writer and author, Andrea publishes over 100 articles and white papers each year, across a spectrum of customer-centric topics. She is known for her easy-to-read writing style, and a knack for diving deep into areas others are afraid to discuss.

Andrea has been a contributor to over 20 national publications, including Industry Week, St. Louis Business Today, IISE, Iowa Association of Business & Industry, Consulting & Specifying Engineer, and Global Manufacturing, to name a few.

 

Registration Details:

Register for this luncheon by noon on Monday, June 24. After noon on Monday, June 24, an additional $10 will be charged for registrations. This additional charge will be reflected in the registration prices listed above. Any registrations not cancelled by April 26 will be billed. Cancellations may be made by emailing AMAReservations@gmail.com. Invoiced payments will be assessed a $5 administration fee.

AMA Iowa encourages pre-payment online in advance of our events.

Note: If you are a member, you can register and pay for a non-member as a guest with your registration. To be eligible for the student rate, you must be registered as student member with AMA national. If you are a student but do not have a valid student membership with AMA national, you must pay the professional member or guest rate.
